Every game counts as the playoff race heats up and the season is nearing an end. Come support D.C. United for their last Thursday night ESPN 2 match of the season. Show your pride for the Black-and-Red on national television this coming Thursday, October 16, 2008 at 7:30 p.m. vs. the New England Revolution at RFK stadium, Presented by Budweiser. The first 5,000 fans entering the stadium will receive a free D.C. United Team Poster courtesy of Budweiser.
Please note: Thursday's kickoff time has been moved from 7:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. ET in order to accommodate a half-hour pre-game show for this massive clash. Gates to RFK Stadium will now open at 6:30 p.m. - plan your tailgate accordingly!

The VW Garage is open to everyone attending the game from the time gates open until the end of half time. Enter the VW Garage from section 222.

D.C. United's Official Team Store
FFor the first time in D.C. United's storied history, you can visit the Official Team Store of D.C. United located at Main Gate behind Section 317. Whether adult, youth, or infant, male or female, we now have a readily available selection of official apparel such as jerseys, training gear, tees, hats, balls, bags, and collectibles. Adult and youth jersey customization is available. The Official Team Store is open Monday - Friday; 11am - 6pm and on Game Days four (4) hours prior to kickoff, and closes thirty (30) minutes after the conclusion of the match. Tailgate Party
My Favorite Highway
On 10/16, D.C. United will be hosting a special tailgate party in our "Soccer Celebration" area next to Lot 8A. Join us in the grassy area outside lot 8A at 5:30 for food, beer and live music from the band My Favorite Highway. My Favorite Highway will be playing a 90-minute set from 5:45-7:15. Pre-game Text Promotions
Be sure to check out D.C. United's pre-game text promotions with chances to win upgraded seats and tickets to a future D.C. United game.
"UPGRADE" Challenge: Already have tickets to our game this Saturday? Well, here is your chance to Upgrade those tickets to field level passes. On the day of game, before the match starts, Text the word UPGRADE to 49850 for a chance to win field level passes. The winner will be chosen randomly from those that enter and will be sent a text message five (5) minutes into the match. (Please note that redemption of these passes will take place inside the stadium, you must have tickets to the match on 10/16 in order to participate).
"GOAL" Challenge: Think you know how many goals D.C. United will score during this match? Text GOAL and the total number of goals you think D.C. United will score (ex. If DCU scores 3 goals it would be GOAL3) to 49850. All entries must be sent in on the day of the match and must be submitted before the start of the match to be eligible. The winner will be selected at random from those people that answer correctly. The winner will be notified via text message after the game and will receive 2 free tickets to our next game.

Youth Fan Club
The Youth Fan Club (YFC) Redemption Center (located behind section 302) will be open on October 16th. If you missed any premium items this season, this is your last chance to get them all, while supplies last (Papa John's T-shirt, Verizon Wireless autograph book, and the Century Council cleat bag). The Redemption Center will open 90 minutes before kick-off and remain open until the end of half time. The Redemption Center will also serve as the pick-up location for all membership cards in '08. Coaches Association
The Coaches Association (CA) Redemption Center (located behind section 302) will be open on October 16th. All regular season home matches in October will be used as "make-up" games. If you missed any items this season, stop by the booth to pick them up (Papa John's T-shirt, Gatorade Team Towel, and D.C. United Hat). The Redemption Center will open 90 minutes before kick-off and remain open until the end of half time. The Redemption Center will also serve as the pick-up location for all membership cards in '08. Membership cards will not be mailed out this year. Club executives and playing alumni named Agoos a finalist for United's ultimate individual honor before he was selected as this year's Hall inductee by a fan vote conducted on dcunited.com.
