MLS Experience
2006: Facundo Erpen made a significant impact in his first full season with United, helping the team put together one of the League's stingiest defenses. Starting all of the 30 games he played in, Erpen scored three goals and logged his first two MLS assists in 2006. His 35-yard strike against New York on 4/22 won him the Goal of the Week award. For his consistent season with United, Erpen was elected to his first MLS All-Star team in August.2005: Following his late season signing, Erpen quickly worked his way into the Black-and-Red lineup. Seeing time at both right and center back, Erpen made appearances in eight games (eight starts). He scored his first career MLS goal in United's 2-1 win over FC Dallas on 9/10.
Other Pro Experience
2000-2005: Erpen joined Talleres de Cordoba during the 2000 season, when the team was a member of the Argentine Second Division. He was a staple in Talleres' backline for five years and helped Talleres gain promotion to the First Division in 2002. During his time with the team, Erpen appeared in 58 First Division games and notched four goals.1999-00: Erpen began his professional career in Argentina as a member of Club Juventud Unida de Entre Rios, before spending time with the youth teams of First Division power Boca Juniors.
