MLS Experience
2008: Rod Dyachenko provided cover for United's injury-marred frontline throughout the season. The striker made 19 appearances (five starts) for the Black-and-Red in league play and provided three assists. He was an integral part of the club's reserve squad and saw time in eight games (six starts). In his 776 minutes with the Black-and-Red Reserves, Dyachenko scored six goals and tallied three assists. The striker played in all four U.S. Open Cup fixtures (two starts) and four CONCACAF Champions League matches (three starts).2007: After an off-season that saw him selected in the expansion draft by Toronto FC and then traded back to United in January, Rod Dyachenko made 14 appearances (four starts) for D.C. He scored his first career MLS Goal on 6/16 in the club's 3-1 win over the Chicago Fire. He also contributed two goals and an assist in 11 appearances (10 starts) for the reserve squad. In SuperLiga play, Dyachenko scored the game-winning goal in a 1-0 win over Mexico's Club America on 7/29.
2006: In his first season with the club, Rod Dyachenko cracked the United lineup a number of times. The quick-footed midfielder saw time in nine matches (four starts), making his MLS debut on 8/16. He earned his first start on 9/9 against Real Salt Lake and was a key member of the D.C. reserves, as he was the only United player to appear in all 12 reserve matches. He scored two goals and led all Reserve Division players with five assists.
College
2005: Dyachenko was named the 2005 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Player of the Year following his senior season at UNLV. He also earned his third consecutive All-MPSF First Team honors by leading the Rebels with eight goals and one assist. He ended his career with 23 career goals (seven game-winners).2004: During his junior season, Dyachenko played in 19 games (13 starts) for the Rebels, again earning All-MPSF First Team honors. His seven goals during the season placed him fourth in the league.
2003: Dyachenko's sophomore season was rewarded with his first All-MPSF First Team selection honor as he scored two goals and tied for the team lead with four assists.
2002: As an outstanding freshman, Dyachenko played in 19 games (13 starts) and notched seven goals and one assist.
