MLS Experience
2007: United signed Nick Addlery on 4/24 after the forward put forth an impressive effort during a trial with the first team. Addlery made 11 total appearances (four starts) during the regular season and scored his first career goal and assist against the Colorado Rapids on 6/28. For his performance, he was named MLS Player of the Week. The Bronx, NY native finished the season with a goal and two assists in 456 minutes on the field. He was also a fixture with the reserve squad, notching three goals and two assists in all 12 Reserve Division games (10 starts).
Other Pro Experience
2006-07: Addlery played for Dong Nai FC in the Vietnamese second division in 2006. After the season, he transferred to the Virginia Beach Mariners in USL-1 but the club folded before the start of the season. D.C. United offered the forward a trial, where he impressed coaches and was signed in late April.2003-05: Started his career in the Trinidad & Tobago professional league with the South Starworld Strikers, where he played two seasons. In 2005, he went to CL Financial San Juan Jabloteh, where he played in 25 games.
College
1999-2002: Played for Division II California University of Pennsylvania where he scored 52 goals in 75 games with 20 assists. He finished his career there second all-time in both career goals and points.
